Yoga is essentially a practice for your soul, working through the medium of your body.
The Throat chakra is the fifth chakra located at the center of the neck at the level of the throat, it is the passage of the energy between the lower parts of the body and the head. The function of the Throat chakra associates with the principle of expression and communication. Vishuddha channelizes energy from the six other main chakras for expression. This ‘soul’s gate is also the first of the spiritual chakras and is connected to the Thyroid and Parathyroid gland. When it’s balanced, we are able to express our thoughts and feelings more easily. In this blog post, I will discuss how yoga can help us balance our throat chakra so that we are able to communicate with others confidently and honestly.
Element of Throat Chakra
The throat chakra, or Vishuddha Chakra in Sanskrit, is the point where our voice interacts with space and sound. This interaction opens up a whole new realm of experience to not only hear but to feel your own vibrations as well.
Space(Ether) is the natural element of Throat Chakra.
