The root chakra is the foundation of our energy and health. It's a vital part of our bodies, yet we often neglect it. The foods that are best for this chakra are those that ground us, and help to put us in touch with the earth. In this article, I'll give you some great ideas on what types of food can help your root chakra thrive!

Can Foods Help Restore Balance In Our Chakras?

There are many foods that can be used to help balance the chakras. The seven basic chakra colors represent a different emotional state, and the following food lists provide examples of foods for each chakra that would support them in their respective color:

  • The First Chakra – Red
  • The Second Chakra – Orange
  • The Third Chakra – Yellow
  • Fourth Chakra – Green
  • Fifth Chakra- Blue
  • Sixth Chakra- Indigo
  • Seventh Chakra- White/Violet
